Petron to implement big-time LPG price rollback Wednesday
Petron Corp. announced a price rollback for its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products, which should bring a sigh of relief to households and motorists.
In an advisory on Tuesday, Petron said it would implement a P5.90 per kilogram reduction in its household LPG prices, effective at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1.
The price adjustment is equivalent to about a P64.9 decrease in the price of a typical 11-kilogram LPG tank.
Estimates from the Department of Energy showed that the price of an 11-kilogram LPG cylinder ranges between P915.75 and P1,135.75.
Petron also announced a P3.30 per liter price reduction for its AutoLPG.
The adjustments reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of June, according to the oil company. —VBL, GMA News
