Fuel prices set to rise further next week – Unioil

Fuel prices are projected to climb further in the coming week, according to Unioil Petroleum Philippines on Saturday.

Based on its fuel price forecast for January 25 to 31, Unioil said the price per liter of diesel may increase by P1.80 to P1.90.

Meanwhile, gasoline prices are expected to rise by P1.40 to P1.50 per liter.

Oil firms earlier implemented an increase in pump prices of petroleum products for the third straight week.

Data from the Department of Energy show that year-to-date adjustments stand at a total net increase of P2.60 per liter for gasoline, P3.50 per liter for diesel, and P2.74 per liter for kerosene as of January 11. — Richa Noriega/VBL, GMA News
