LIST: Bank schedules for 2021 Christmas holidays
Most of the local lenders will be closed during the Christmas holidays, but several banks said select branches will remain open to serve their clients.
Below are the advisories from banks that have so far announced their schedules for the holidays:
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
December 17 and 22
Check clearing cut-off for all branches will be at 2 p.m., and branches will close at 3 p.m.
December 24 and 31
Check clearing cut-off for all branches will be at 11:30 a.m., and branches will close at 1 p.m.

BDO Unibank Inc.
Branches will remain open until 2 p.m. on December 24 and 31, while select branches will be open on December 30 until 4 p.m. Branches will be closed on December 25 and January 1.
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank)
Select branches will remain open on weekends and the holidays throughout December.
Other branches will follow shortened banking hours nationwide, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Clearing cut-off time for over-the-check deposits will be at 4 p.m.
Branches will be closed during local and national holidays.
Philippine National Bank
Branches will be closed on December 25, 26, and 30, 2021, as well as January 1 and 2, 2022, except for branches at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC)
All branches will be open on December 24 and 31 until 1 p.m. Transactions may be done through online banking.
Union Bank of the Philippines
The bank adjusted its operating hours from December 21, 2021, until January 3, 2022. The full schedule is available online.
