DITO expanding network coverage to 45 more areas in October


Telecommunication duopoly challenger DITO Telecommunity Corp. on Friday said it is making available its mobile network services to 45 more areas across the country this month.

The additional areas bring its total commercially launched cities and municipalities to 331 from an initial 15 pilot areas in the Visayas and Mindanao during its commercial launch in March.

The new areas for DITO’s commercial services are as follows:

Late September, DITO said it breached 3 million subscribers as it rolled out its services in more areas across the country.
