Cebu Pacific announces flight cancellations from July 31 to August 05
Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Friday announced the cancellation of flights scheduled from Saturday, July 31 until Thursday, August 05.
This came after the National Capital Region was placed under a general community quarantine “with heightened restrictions” from July 31 to August 5.
Cebu Pacific and other airlines earlier announced that only essential travelers will be allowed to board their flights.
According to Cebu Pacific, the following flights are cancelled:
5J 619/620: Manila – Bohol – Manila
5J 891: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan)
5J 895: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan)
5J 899: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan)
5J 901: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan)
5J 905: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan)
5J 891/892: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan) – Manila
5J 895/896: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan) – Manila
5J 899/900: Manila – Boracay (Caticlan) – Manila
DG 6132/6133: Cebu – Boracay (Caticlan) – Cebu
5J 565/566: Manila – Cebu - Manila
DG 6984/6985: Cebu – Clark – Cebu
DG 6043/6044: Manila – Coron – Manila
5J 977/978: Manila – Davao – Manila
DG 6117/6118: Manila – Naga – Manila
5J 783/784: Manila – Ozamiz – Manila

Cebu Pacific said affected passengers may rebook within 60 days with no additional cost while fare difference will be waived.
Passengers may also opt to avail of a travel fund that will be valid for two years and use it to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons such as baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.
They may also file for a refund, which may take up to two months from the date of request.
“We will provide updates on CEB flights from August 6 to 20, 2021, in the coming days,” Cebu Pacific said.
