Some Maynilad customers to have water service interruption May 25-26, 2021
Some customers of Maynilad Water Services, Inc. in Parañaque City, Caloocan City, Malabon City and Quezon City will have water service interruption on May 25 to 26, 2021.
Maynilad said its customers in portions of Barangays BF Homes, BF International/CAA and San Isidro in Parañaque City will have low pressure to no water from 12 noon of Tuesday, May 25, to 1 a.m. of Wednesday, May 26.
The company said the water service interruption is due to the high demand in the Bagbag Reservoir.
Meanwhile, some Maynilad customers in Caloocan City, Malabon City and Quezon City will have low pressure to no water from 12 noon to 9 p.m. of Tuesday, May 25, also due to the high demand in Bagbag Reservoir.
Affected barangays are:
- Malabon: 161, Concepcion, Dampalit, Hulong Dagat, Ibaba, Longos, Maysilo, Panghulo, Potrero, San Agustin, Santolan, Tanong and Tonsuya
- Caloocan: 6, 8, 10 to 12, 53 to 55, 77, 78, 80, 81, 83 to 99, 101 to 103, 105 to 107, 109 to 116, 122 to 136, 138 to 142, 144 to 147, 150, 151, 161, 164, Balingasa, San Jose
- Quezon City: 131, 135, 139, Pagibig sa Nayon, San Jose, 163, 164, A. Samson, Baesa, Bahay Toro, Balong Bato, Bungad, Don Manuel Quezon, Dona Josefa Marcos, San Antonio, San Isidro Galas, Sangandaan, Sauyo, Talipapa, Tandang Sora, Tatalon, Unang Sigaw and Veterans Village
Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Bacoor, Imus
Meanwhile, Maynilad customers in Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Bacoor and Imus will also have water service interruption from 12 noon of Tuesday, May 25 to 6 a.m. of Wednesday, May 26.
This is due to maintenance activity at the Putatan Water Treatment Plant in Muntinlupa.
Low water pressure to no water will affect customers in the following areas:
- Las Piñas: Almanza Uno, Pilar, Talon Uno to Talon Singko
- Muntinlupa: Alabang, Bayanan, Poblacion, Putatan, Tunasan
- Bacoor: Molino II, III, IV and VII, Queens Row-Central, -East and -West, San Nicolas III
- Imus: Pasong Buaya I and II
Maynilad advised customers to store enough water. Once water service resumes, customers should let water flow until it becomes clear.
The company appealed for customers' understanding amid the service interruption.
