#PositiveEnergy helps communities beyond the pandemic

More than a year has passed but the country is still feeling the impact of the pandemic. It is, however, inspiring to see how businesses have been trying to make a difference in any way that they can. Some have donated medical supplies, while others have given aid and monetary assistance to their employees, the frontliners, and affected Filipino families.

Positive Energy for local communities

This funding was used to help their partner LGUs across the country in their efforts to stop the spread of the pandemic and bolster relief for affected families. Some of these initiatives are the distribution of goods to households and front liners, creation of holding and distribution centers, completion of isolation facilities for COVID patients, donation of medical supplies and equipment to hospitals, and support for new livelihood projects for those who lost their jobs during the quarantine period.

Sharing meaningful content with other businesses

The pandemic has thrown a lot of businesses off their normal operations as well. To make sure Filipinos get access to relevant information, AboitizPower has launched the Integrated Response and Awareness towards COVID-19 Hazards (I-REACH) Program. The I-REACH Program supported customers as they recover from the pandemic and transition into the new normal through a series of helpful, informative webinars. The series discussed topics like virus prevention, work-from-home practices, business recovery strategies, and other challenges brought by the pandemic. The I-REACH Program has been given the Silver Stevie award for the Most Valuable Corporate Response category in the International Business Awards this year.

Continuing the path to sustainability

Sustainability is now more important than ever. Businesses must pursue green practices that put both people and the environment at the center.
