Month-long P25 seat sale marks Cebu Pacific's 25th anniversary

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Monday announced its month-long promotional P25 seat sale, as part of its 25th year anniversary.

In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said the sale will last until March 31, 2021, covering domestic flights for travel from March 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

"On our 25th year, we remain humbled to be part of our passengers' stories and life journeys. We are in full support of the simplification of travel requirements, and expect to welcome more guests onto our flights in the coming months," said Candice Iyog, vice president for marketing and customer experience.

Aside from its month-long seat sale, Cebu Pacific will also offer 25% off for flight add-ons on top of its piso sale, but details have yet to be announced.

Commercial air travel to and from Metro Manila was restricted in March 2020 and only resumed in June last year, after the easing of the community quarantine.

Cebu Pacific, along with other carriers Air Asia and  the Philippine Airlines, earlier asked the government to provide P8.6 billion in assistance to the airline industry given losses incurred during the period. -NB, GMA News
