AirAsia announces buy one, take one promo for Valentine's Day

Budget carrier AirAsia Philippines on Monday announced a buy one take one promo for local flights ahead of Valentine's Day.

AirAsia said the promotional fares will be available from Monday, February 1 until Sunday, February 7, through its website or mobile application, covering flights from February 2021 to March 26, 2022.

The promo includes fares for two from Manila to Kalibo (P622); Bohol (P822); Caticlan (P822); Cagayan de Oro (P822); Tacloban (P822); Cebu (P822); General Santos (P822); Davao (P822); Iloilo (P822); and Puerto Princesa (P822).

It also includes fares for two from Clark to Caticlan (P822); Davao (P822); Puerto Princesa (P822); and Iloilo (P1,222), as well as fares for two from Cebu to Cagayan de Oro (P1,022); Caticlan (P1,222); Davao (P1,222);  and Puerto Princesa (P1,422).

"In celebration of Valentine’s day, we want to share the love by giving this getaway gift to you, and to your choice of companion because we know how much you miss traveling. AirAsia will always be committed to make you feel loved and safe," said spokesperson Steve Dailisan.

AirAsia Philippines resumed its services in June 2020, after nearly three months of suspension due to lockdowns designed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The carrier, along with Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines, earlier appealed for the government to provide P8.6 billion in assistance to the airline industry given losses incurred during the period. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/KG, GMA News
