Diesel, gasoline prices seen to go up next week —Unioil

Pump prices of fuel products may be up for another round of price hikes in the coming week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said Saturday.

In its fuel forecast for August 18 to 24 trading week, Unioil said the price per liter may go up by P0.10.

Gasoline prices, likewise, were expected to increase between P0.60 and P0.70 per liter.

Oil companies usually implement price adjustment on petroleum products every Tuesday of the week.

Latest data from the Department of Energy showed, the prices of gasoline range from P41.55 to P54.70 per liter, while the price per liter of diesel ranges between P31.60 and P39.10.

Year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P4.77 per liter for gasoline and P8.79 per liter for diesel. -MDM, GMA News
