Updated AirAsia Philippines flights until August 31, 2020

Over a month after the resumption of its Philippine operations, AirAsia on Wednesday announced more international flights which will be available this month and the next.

In an emailed advisory, AirAsia said it will resume flights from the Philippines to Kuala Lumpur this July, and flights to Don Mueang and Taipei in August.

"Following AirAsia’s resumption in the Philippines on 5 June, more commercial flights are being arranged as we gradually restore our network," it said.

AirAsia Philippines resumed its services on June 5, after nearly three months of suspension due to lockdowns designed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

AirAsia, along with other carriers Cebu Pacific and the Philippine Airlines, earlier appealed for the government to provide P8.6 billion in assistance to the airline industry given losses incurred during the period. — BM, GMA News
