Gasoline prices up for 3rd straight week Tuesday; diesel, kerosene mark 2nd consecutive week

Pump prices will be hiked for the third consecutive week on Tuesday, accompanied by the second straight week of increases for diesel and kerosene.
In an advisory, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P1.25, diesel by P0.55, and kerosene by P2.35.
Petro Gazz will implement the same adjustments, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19.
Other firms have yet to make any announcements.
According to the latest available data from the Department of Energy, total year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P14.52 per liter for gasoline, P16.99 for diesel, and P22.50 for kerosene as of May 5, 2020. —KG, GMA News
