Jomar Ang, son of businessman Ramon Ang, dies
Jomar Ang, one of the children of business magnate Ramon Ang, passed away over the weekend.
In a statement released via mobile message, the elder Ang and his wife Tessie said Jomar passed on Saturday, April 11, 2020. The family did not elaborate on the details.
"It has been a painful experience, but we have been comforted by the expressions of love and sympathy sent to us in many ways," the statement read.
"We appreciate all the kind thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being with us during this difficult time," it added.
The younger Ang was admitted to the St. Luke's Medical Center in January where he was said to be in critical condition.
The Ang family said a private service to celebrate Jomar's life was conducted on Sunday, April 12.
"Jomar was a dutiful, loving, and kind-hearted son, brother, and a loyal and dedicated friend to many. He was a source of great joy to us and we are truly blessed to have had his love and presence in our lives. We know in our hearts that he is in a much better place now," the family said.
