Robinsons Supermarket sets up priority lane for medical frontliners

A priority lane has been set up in Robinsons Supermarkets for medical frontliners, battling against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

On its Facebook page, Robinsons announced that they have dedicated a separate lane for frontliners to prioritize their needs and recognize their service to the country amid the COVID-19 threat.

"Thank you to our medical frontliners! Because when life is on the line, every second counts. Thank you for your service!" Robinsons Supermarket wrote in the caption of their Facebook post.

SM markets have also set up express lanes for medical frontliners, in recognition for their tireless service.

But while we're talking about tireless service, allow us to recognize grocery workers, who have been sacrificing their and their loved ones' safety and well-being just to be able to get to work and make sure that people who are currently on quarantine, have access to their needs.

You're frontliners, too!

President Rodrigo Duterte placed the whole Luzon on enhanced community quarantine on March 17. It is expected to last until April 13.

According to the quarantine guidelines, "employees of establishments involved in production, processing and distribution of basic necessities such as food (supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores, wet markets), pharmacies, banks and remittance centers" are among those who are allowed to go outside their homes.
