AirAsia bares promo fares for new Zamboanga-Clark, Cebu routes


Budget carrier AirAsia on Thursday announced promotional fares for its new flights to and from Zamboanga, scheduled to start next month.

In an advisory, AirAsia said it will start flights from Clark and Cebu to Zamboanga, and vice versa starting March 29.

"We are pleased to announce our new domestic destination, Zamboanga. Our newest route cements AirAsia’s connections amongst the country’s major islands: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao," AirAsia Philippines chief executive officer Ricky Isla said.

In line with this, AirAsia announced promotional fares from Clark to Zamboanga from P1,090 for BIG Loyalty Members, and P1,157 for non-members.

The flights will be four times a week, leaving Clark at 1:40 p.m. and arriving in Zamboanga at 3:25 p.m., while return flights depart Zamboanga at 3:55 p.m. and arrive in Clark at 5:40 p.m.

Meanwhile, flights between Cebu and Zamboanga will start at P990 for Big Loyalty Members, and P1,057 for non-members.

For Cebu, there will be flights thrice a week -- leaving Cebu at 7:45 a.m. and arriving in Zamboanga at 8:50 a.m., with return flights leaving Zamboanga at 9:20 a.m. and landing in Cebu at 10:30 a.m.

There will also be flights four times a week, leaving Cebu at 11:05 a.m. and arriving at 12:10 p.m., while return flights leave Zamboanga at 12:40 p.m. and arrive in Cebu at 1:50 p.m. —LDF, GMA News
