Several transmission lines unavailable due to Tisoy —NGCP

Several power transmissions and distribution utilities went down as Typhoon Tisoy ravaged the Bicol region, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said Tuesday.

According to the NGCP, the following transmission lines are unavailable:

South Luzon

"There are also 13 230kV transmission lines unavailable, affecting transmission services in Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon," the NGCP said.

Inspection and restoration of lines in the affected areas will be in full swing as soon as the weather allows, the power grid operator said. — BM, GMA News
