Petron to hike gasoline, roll back diesel and kerosene prices

Petron Corp. on Saturday announced adjustments to the pump prices of its petroleum products, effective next week.

In an advisory, Petron said they would hike the price per liter of gasoline by P0.85.

Meanwhile, the oil company would roll back the prices of diesel and kerosene by P0.15 per liter and P0.10 per liter, respectively.

The fuel price adjustments would take effect at 6 a.m. on November 12, Tuesday.

"These reflect movements in the international oil market," Petron said.

Year-to-date adjustments for petroleum products stand at a net increase of P5.06 per liter for gasoline, P3.67 per liter for diesel, and P0.86 per liter for kerosene, according to the Department of Energy. — John Ted Cordero/DVM, GMA News
