Globe, Smart lure postpaid clients with iPhone 11

Globe and Smart are luring postpaid clients to pre-order the much anticipated iPhone 11.

Among the three models that now available in the Philippine market, the iPhone 11 costs the least with a starting price of P47,990 while the iPhone 11 Pro starts at P67,990 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max at P73,990, according to Apple Inc.

Both carriers are offering several options to encourage customers to get their hands on the new iPhone. This includes monthly installments and “special cash-out rates” available to all customers.

Smart is offering users the Smart Signature Device Plan L which covers the iPhone 11 (64GB) with 15GB of monthly data, Unli AnyNet Texts, Unli On-Net Calls and 150-minute AnyNet Calls for P2,499 per month for 2 years and a cash out of P7,000.

With the same plan, Smart is also offering the iPhone 11 Pro (64GB) for P3,099 per month for 2 years with a cash out of P11,500, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max (64GB)  for P3,299 per month for 2 years with a P12,910 cash out.

Globe, meanwhile, is offering the iPhone 11 with ThePlan 1799, a fixed monthly installment for up to 3 years with 0% interest. Customers need to pay P533 per month if customers are up for a contract renewal, and P600 for new customers.

Existing Globe Postpaid customers get a P2,400 discount on the cash out if the customer has ThePlan 1799 and up, or a P1,200 discount on the cash out for other plans. —Joahna Lei Casilao/VDS, GMA
