Lalamove taps CitySavings for motorcycle loan financing

Delivery app Lalamove on Wednesday said it has signed a partnership with UnionBank’s thrift unit CitySavings, to provide loan financing for motorcycle units purchased by accredited dealer-partners nationwide.

In a statement, Lalamove said that through its partnership with CitySavings, its partner-drivers are given flexible payment options and rebates when buying Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha motorcycle models.

The partnership will benefit over 35,000 partner-drivers in Greater Metro Manila and Cebu, where Lalamove currently operates.

"We are confident this partnership will be a success, given the ease of availment and convenience it brings our drivers,” Lalamove managing director Dannah Majarocon said.

“Imagine acquiring a brand new motorcycle where you don’t need to show a payslip or go through a burdensome and difficult process—with CitySavings, our first bank partner, this is not just a possibility but a reality,” Majarocon said. —Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
