Improved water supply expected by Tuesday —Manila Water

Manila Water Company Inc. on Monday said improved flow of water supply may be felt by residents beginning Tuesday, March 12.

"Doon sa ilang lugar po, hopefully po hanggang bukas po medyo mas maayos na natin 'yung pagdating ng tubig. Bukas or Tuesday... Dahil 'yung technical teams po natin 'yun ang ginagawa po ngayon," Jeric Sevilla, head for corporate communications, told GMA News' Unang Balita.

"Ang mangyayari po noon hindi lang sa Mandaluyong kung hindi para po sa lahat ng lugar... Gusto nating ibalanse 'yung tubig po," Sevilla added.

The water concessionaire has apologized for the inconsistent water service interruptions, but it admitted that there will be more scheduled service breaks this coming summer due to the continued decline in the water level at La Mesa Dam.

Manila Water already deployed as much as 26 water tankers to supply water to those experiencing water service interruptions and those with low water pressure. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KG, GMA News
