GMA Network, GMA News Online win at NCST Dangal ng Bayan Awards

GMA Network Inc. received multi-awards at the National College of Science and Technology Dangal ng Bayan Awards on Wednesday, and GMA News Online won the Media Excellence Award for Online Journalism, on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019.

GMA Network Inc. received multi-awards at the National College of Science and Technology (NCST) Dangal ng Bayan Awards on Wednesday.

The network’s GMA News Online also won the Media Excellence Award for Online Journalism.

The NCST Dangal ng Bayan Awards recognizes institutions that evolved into “agents of change” and made a difference in the country.

GMA Network bagged the Media Excellence Award for Engineering for its outstanding projects, campaigns, and innovations in the fields of online and traditional media work.

The network also received the following NCST Dangal ng Bayan Awards:

• Media Excellence Award for TV Broadcasting – Ms. Jessica Soho

• Excellence Award for Music – Christian Bautista

• Media Excellence Award for Public Service – GMA Kapuso Foundation

• Media Excellence Award for Tourism – Biyahe ni Drew

• Media Excellence Award for Hospitality Management – Idol sa Kusina

• Media Excellence Award for Architecture – Master Builder

• Media Excellence Award for Public Administration – Bawal ang Pasaway kay Mareng Winnie

• Media Excellence Award for Communication –24 Oras

This is the first national awards given by NCST to men and women who excel in their fields, advocating democratic rights and interests as well as inspiring the youth to strive for more genuine transformation.
