Araneta Center Bus Port takes in PayMaya for cashless payments
The Araneta Center Bus Port and PayMaya Philippines are now partners in cashless transactions, for both online payments and at the bus terminal.
Commuters may book, reserve seats, and pay for their tickets online before arriving at the terminal.
They may pay using Visa, Mastercard, or JCB credit card. Another way to pay for bus tickets is by using PayMaya QR (quick response) on their mobile phones at the terminal.
“Whether it’s online or at the bus port, booking bus tickets is now more convenient for passengers, and their total experience is now made more secure with the help of PayMaya’s cashless payment options,” Araneta Center SVP for operations Antonio Mardo said in a statement on Monday.
In a separate statement, PayMaya president and CEO Orlando Vea said cashless payments are more convenient and efficient.
“This partnership with the Araneta Center Bus Port will not only bring tremendous convenience to commuters, but will help the bus port operate more efficiently as well.” —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
