North Integrated Transport Exchange to rise soon in Bulacan

The Department of Transportation on Tuesday showed what the North Integrated Transport Exchange (North ITX) will look like once it is constructed in Bocaue, Bulacan.

The North ITX is a multi-level automated bus terminal that will serve as a stop for provincial buses from the North.

Once the North ITX is operational, traffic in Metro Manila is expected to improve because provincial buses from the North will no longer be allowed to enter Metro Manila.

City buses will pick up passengers at the terminal and ferry them to Metro Manila.

The DOTr and the North Luzon Express Terminal Inc. said passengers will not be inconvenienced because the North ITX is located near the MRT7 and a station of the Philippine National Railways. —KG, GMA News
