Victory Liner to launch P2P routes to and from Clark Int’l Airport this week

Bus operator Victory Liner Inc. on Sunday said it will launch point-to-point (P2P) services from the Clark International Airport to Olongapo and Pangasinan this week.

In an emailed statement, VLI said it will launch P2P services from the Clark airport to Subic Bay in Olongapo, and to Dagupan in Pangasinan.

In a separate text message, the bus firm said the P2P services will start on Monday, March 12.

According to operations manager Ronald Sarmiento, VLI decided to launch the service as a way to tap the overseas Filipino workers (OFW) market whose families are based in Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, and Pangasinan.

"Instead of disembarking in Manila-based airports and ride buses to Subic, Bataan, Pampanga, and Pangasinan, OFWs and tourists, both locals and foreign will now be able to catch their international and local trips from Clark International Airport," VLI said.

The trips to and from the Clark International Airport will utilize the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) in efforts to shorten the travel time.

The Clark-Subic routes will pick up and drop off passengers at Clark Airport, SM Clark, and at Victory Liner bus terminals in San Fernando, Dinalupihan, and Harbor Point.

"From Clark International Airports, there will be a trip from Clark to Subic. This trip begins at 1 a.m. and the last trip will be at 8 p.m.," Sarmiento said.

"[For] those living in Bataan and Zambales, there will be trips from Subic to San Fernando," he added.

Meanwhile, the Clark-Dagupan routes will pick up and drop off passengers at Clark Airport, SM Clark, SM Carmen, SM Urdaneta, and Victory Liner terminals.

"For residents of Pangasinan, trips to Clark will start at 1 a.m. and the last trip at 8 p.m.," Sarmiento said. — BM, GMA News
