Petron, small players announce fuel price rollback for diesel


More oil companies are rolling back the prices of their products early Tuesday.
 
As of Monday afternoon, at least five more companies—Petron, Eastern, Phoenix, PTT and Seaoil—announced plans to cut prices of their diesel and kerosene.
 
On its Twitter account, Petron said it will roll back effective 12:01 a.m. Tuesday the prices of diesel by 25 centavos per liter and kerosene by 10 centavos per liter.
 
GMA News' Julius Segovia tweeted that another company, Eastern Petroleum, would roll back prices of diesel by 30 centavos per liter effective 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
 
Other companies rolling back prices of their products include:
 
Phoenix, diesel only, 25 centavos per liter, 6 a.m. Tuesday;
 
PTT Philippines, diesel only, 25 centavos per liter, 12:01 a.m. Tuesday; and
 
Seaoil, diesel 25 centavos per liter and kerosene 15 centavos per liter, 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
