Beer Below Zero embarks on massive expansion after securing patents

Beer Below Zero, a Filipino company known for its signature ice-cold beer, is embarking on a large-scale expansion after successfully securing patents for specialized beer freezers.

“We are eager to bring this unique drinking experience to more customers through our new satellite offices nationwide. We want nothing more than to make the Philippines the go-to country for the best and coldest beers,” said president and CEO Luigi Nuñez.

In an e-mailed statement, Beer Below Zero said both the freezer and the technology are now patented in the Philippines – two patents for design and two for utility models.

The company plans to open satellite offices in major regions to meet the increasing demand for ice-cold beer, and to supply appliance stores with the patented freezers latter this year.

Vice president and co-founder Vinson Co-Say is leading the expansion nationwide expansion, according to the company.

The freezers are equipped with refrigeration technology that cools beer just above the freezing point of -8? C or supposedly the “ideal state” that enhances the crispiness of taste.
