Asia CEO Awards honors PSE board

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) was cited as having the Most Admired Board of Directors by broadsheet BusinessMirror in the recent Asia CEO Awards at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World Manila.   PSE president and chief executive officer Hans Sicat received the award on behalf of the PSE board of from BusinessMirror president Benjamin Ramos and vice president for corporate affairs Frederick Alegre, PSE noted in a statement Tuesday.   The World Federation of Exchanges recognized the PSE as the world's top performing market in 2011 for rolling out a new trading system, extending trading hours, implementing multiple regulatory and governance enhancements and raising its international profile among the ASEAN member-countries.   The PSE was also a finalist in the Teleperformance Most Innovative Company and Technology Team of the Year categories. — VS, GMA News
