Visitors spend New Year’s Day at Luneta

Visitors flocked to the Luneta Park in Manila to celebrate the first day of the year with their families.

According to a Balitanghali report by Ivan Mayrina on Wednesday, the occasional rains and cloudy skies did not stop visitors from enjoying the scenery offered by the famous park.

Some visitors took advantage of the New Year’s holiday to spend a relaxing time off with their families or loved ones.

“May bonding po kami, masaya,” said a visitor.

One of the key features visitors enjoyed were the wide-open spaces, which were popular to the visiting children, while loudspeakers played Christmas songs throughout the park.

A light and sound show is expected in the evening.
