5 fun things to do at Singapore's Jewel Changi Airport
Here's the awesome thing about Singapore: Even before you step out into the Lion City's arms, there's already so much to do at Changi. And if your visit proves too short, you can always "extend" it for a few more hours at the award-winning hub.
The Singapore Changi Airport has long been considered among the best airports in the world. Not only does it house over 500 retail and food outlets across its four terminals, it also boasts the famous Jewel Changi, a nature-themed entertainment hub that is a must-see.
Jewel is linked to Terminal One of the Singapore Changi Airport, and is connected to other terminal hubs through free shuttle buses.
Shopping and eating aside, there are plenty of things to do in the Jewel while waiting for your flight. Here are five of them.
1. Visit the Forest Valley
The Forest Valley, a lush green sanctuary home to various plants and trees, is the crown jewel of Jewel Changi. It has walking pathways that takes you to the topmost level (level 5) of Jewel, perfect for a quick workout before your flight.
If you have no energy for that, admire the Rain Vortex from afar. It's considered the world’s tallest indoor waterfall and serves as Jewel’s main attraction. Admission is free, but bring a lot of energy!
2. Explore the Canopy Park
Located at the topmost level of Jewel, Canopy Park is a 14,000 square-meter recreational garden that offers a wide array of fun attractions.
Aside from the majestic flowers and trees, young and young hearts can enjoy playing on their Discovery Slides, Hedge Maze, Mirror Maze, Bouncing Nets, Walking Net and Foggy Bowls. They can also visit the Petal Garden and take a stroll at their Topiary Walk.

3. Take a walk at the Canopy Bridge
The Canopy Bridge is another attraction in the Jewel that you shouldn’t miss. Suspended 23 meters above the ground, this 50-meter wide glass-paneled bridge serves as a viewing deck for tourists, offering fantastic views of the Forest Valley and the Rain Vortex.
Canopy Bridge is located at the level five of Jewel and is open from 10:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. everyday.
