Ashley Ortega explores Mt. Fuji in Japan

Ashley Ortega has crossed off Japan's Mt. Fuji from her bucket list!

On Instagram, the “ Pulang Araw ” actress shared some breathtaking shots of her with Mt. Fuji in the background.

Ashley currently plays the role of Sister Manuela Apolonio, a nun who was forced to become a comfort woman during the Japanese occupation in the Philippines.

She previously said on a “24 Oras” report that it is a big responsibility for her to portray the narrative of the comfort women through Sister Manuela .

“Pulang Araw” airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after “24 Oras.”
