As seen on the search aggregator and travel agency website, Panglao ranked eighth after seeing an impressive 77% increase in flight searches in the first half of 2024.

Reggio Calabria in Italy took the top spot, earning a 541% increase in flight searches.

Skyscanner also described the island "as emerging as another Asian wellness and wellbeing destination, and a great alternative to more familiar places in Europe."
