Disney Adventure: Here's a look inside the first Disney Cruise Line in Asia

Welcome aboard where the magic begins as Disney Adventure, the first Disney Cruise Line Ship to homeport in Asia, is set to sail from Singapore beginning December 15, 2025.

During the Disney Adventure Grand Reveal Event at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore on Wednesday, Disney announced the cruise ship will feature seven themed areas inspired by its movies which young and young at heart will truly enjoy.

Get to know each of them below.

1. Marvel Landing

Avengers assemble! If you are up for some exhilarating adventure while aboard the cruise, then Marvel Landing might be your cup of tea as it offers three brand new attractions for adrenaline junkies.

The first one is the Ironcycle Test Run, where guests can enjoy Disney Cruise Line Ship's first-ever roller coaster that is over 250 meters long, the longest in the sea. As you ride this attraction, you'll be test-driving Tony Stark's vehicle.

Another attraction that Marvel Landing proudly boasts is the Pym Quantum Racers inspired by "Ant-Man and The Wasp." Guests will steer a giant-size toy set track while navigating giant and tiny obstacles along the way.

Lastly, the Groot Galaxy Spin from the "Guardians of Galaxy" will take guests on an thrilling ride onboard a Nova Corp Bass Jumper vehicle, soaring above the upper decks of the cruise.

After an exciting adventure, you can relax and cool down at their Infinity Pool and Bar, where you can feast over snacks and refreshment, a salute to the Infinity Stones.

2. Toy Story Place

At Toy Story Place, guests can explore, play, and connect in the world of the hit animated Pixar movie.

Located in the upper deck of the cruise ship, the area features Flying Saucer Splash Zone where families can dive into an oversized Pizza Planet toy, Toy Story Splash Pad, a water playground for toddlers and young children, and Woody and Jessie's Wild Slides.

Snacks and delectable treats are also served at the Toy Story Place through Pizza Planet, the Wheezy Fries, and Pixar Market Restaurant, all inspired by the films.

3. Town Square

Town Square pays homage to our beloved Disney Princesses from "Tangled," "Cinderella," "Frozen," and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," among others.

Spanning three decks, the area is filled with shops, lounges, cafes, salons, restaurants and  entertainment venues such as their indoor theater, which takes inspiration from "Fantasia."

At the indoor theaters, guests can have the chance to watch two musicals: "Remember" and "Disney Seas the Adventure."

It also offers a cozy dining hall in Enchanted Summer Restaurant with two dining rooms  inspired by the classic Disney animated films "Tangled" and  "Frozen."

4. San Fransokyo

San Fransokyo, a fictional mash-up of the cities of San Francisco in California and Tokyo in Japan, is a tribute to "Big Hero 6."

Here, gamers of all ages can have the time of their lives as this area features an arcade where you can play all day.

Aside from the arcade, San Fransokyo also hosts a cinema showing classic Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm movies throughout the day, as well as a street stand café.

Guests can also have the opportunity to meet our beloved cuddly bear Baymax! 

5. Wayfinder Bay

Looking for a chill and relaxing spot in the cruise ship? You've got it all at Moana's Wayfinder Bay!

Here, guests will be welcomed to an open-air view under the sun where they can see some of the most stunning views of land, sea, and sky aboard the ship.

Guests can relax even more by enjoying their beverages from Voyager Bar while watching the live musical "Moana: Call of the Sea" that retells Moana's epic quest and voyage.

6. Disney Discovery Reef

Located at the back of the ship, Disney Discover Reef is inspired by Disney and Pixar, including "The Little Mermaid," "Lilo and Stitch," "Finding Nemo" and "Luca."

Like Wayfinder Bay, the area is an outer hub that offers an open-air gathering space where guests can immerse themselves in dazzling colors and striking seascapes of a vibrant coral reef.

Guests can munch over some treats like kebabs, burgers, and boba teas at their three cafes Ohana Grill, Bewitching Bobas, and Cosmic Kebabs.

It also offers a premium dining experience at the Italian restaurant Palo Trattoria and the Japanese-style Mike & Sulley's - Flavors of Asia.

7. Disney Imagination Garden

The Disney Imagination Garden is an immersive, outdoor, and magical valley inspired by 100 years of Disney adventure. Across the Garden Stage is a three-deck-tall storybook castle art installation, the first of its type aboard a Disney cruise ship. There is also a promenade between them where visitors can stroll, explore, socialize, and eat.

In front of the Garden Stage is a "lawn area" that doubles as amphitheater seating where guests can watch performances from Mickey Mouse and his friends, the Avengers, Baymax and Captain Jack Sparrow.

In its centerpiece is the statue of Mickey Mouse holding a magic wand, welcoming its guests aboard the ship.

Concierge services and staterooms

Aside from the seven-themed areas, the Disney Adventure also offers concierge services and state rooms which guests can enjoy while aboard the ship.

According to Disney, the staterooms will feature split-types bathrooms and a spacious extended veranda that offers an breathtaking view of the ocean.

These staterooms can accommodate at least five guests and has three options:  "Aladdin," "The Little Mermaid," and "The Avengers."

Two magnificent royal suites, inspired by the movie "Frozen," are also available on the voyage. These suites feature a huge living room, a dining area with a bar, a large main bedroom, a kids' room with bunk beds, two ensuite bathrooms, and an expanded porch with lounge chairs and a private whirlpool.

Guests have two options to choose from: The Elsa Royal Suite and The Anna Royal Suite.

Another concierge service guests can enjoy is their two spa suites: The Practically Perfect Spa Suite, inspired by "Mary Poppins," and The Hopps Haven Spa Suite, taking inspiration from "Zootopia."

Booking prices for Disney Adventure have yet to be announced but it will begin on December 10, 2024. 

The Disney Adventure has a carrying capacity of approximately 6,700 guests. It will set sail from the Marina Bay Cruise Center for at least five years, with three- and four-night itineraries offering enchanting days at sea.
