3 things to check out when in Budapest, Hungary
The city of Budapest in Hungary boasts a variety of notable tourist attractions through its grand architecture, which also showcases its rich history.
According to Darlene Cay’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, it takes no less than 15 hours to reach the city from Manila by plane.
Here are 3 things you must check out when visiting Budapest!
Hungarian Parliament Building
Even from the outside, the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building is already a standout because of its structure.
Roaming inside, guests are greeted by its grand interior decorations with gold accents.
Other attractions you can check out aside from the Hungarian Parliament Building are the Fisherman's Bastion for an overlooking view of Budapest, the Matthias Church, and the iconic Chain Bridge and Liberty Bridge.
River cruise
Tourists may also enjoy a sightseeing tour by riding a cruise that passes through the Danube River.
The cruise showcases the beauty of Budapest’s buildings, which radiate a mesmerizing golden glow during the night.
Chimney Cake
One of the must-try Hungarian delicacies is the chimney cake, which is a thin, cylindrical cake.
It comes in various flavors like cinnamon, vanilla, and walnut. The cake is described as being crispy like a pretzel.
“This is such a beautiful city. This is my very first time, so I would say that I would suggest to my friends, to whoever want to see, to get a sightseeing of this beautiful city,” Malaysian tourist Najmi Syahiran Mamat said.
