Looking for unspoiled islands to visit? Balabac, Palawan might be your cup of tea

If it's an unspoiled beach destination you want, look no further than Palawan!

We all know about Coron and El Nido, but have you heard of Balabac? A report by Ian Cruz on "State of the Nation" on Tuesday put the spotlight on the beautiful paradise.

Videos shared by Eli John Sotto showed the crystal clear waters, breathtaking sunsets, and fresh seafood dishes served to guests in the island.

Other activities to enjoy in Balabac include island hopping, kayaking, snorkeling, and free diving.

How do you get to Balabac? Fly to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, and then travel about 5 hours by land to either Rio Tuba or the Buliluyan Port where you can take a boat to the Balabac Group of Islands.

Balabac is nowhere near luxury travel but it's definitely a major travel destination in the making!

"Heaven ba to? Parang ganoon 'yung experience ko. Para sa akin ‘yun ‘yung island na pinakamagandang napuntahan ko sa Pilipinas," Eli said. —JCB/LA, GMA Integrated News
