Newly opened hanging footbridge in Albay gives breathtaking view of Mt. Masaraga

A hanging footbridge in Albay has officially been opened to the public.

According to a report by Paul Hernandez on "Saksi," the bridge gives a breathtaking view of Mt. Masaraga.

More importantly, the bridge will help residents and guests climb and cross the mountain faster and easier.

"Of course safety is the major concern," said Ligao City Mayor Fernando Gonzalez. "Of course that is the first objective always, to make it safe, but also at the same time, to make it accessible."

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) reminded the public to keep the place and the mountain clean, the report added. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
