Valerie Concepcion flies to Thailand for babymoon and husband's birthday
Valerie Concepcion and her husband, Francis Sunga, have arrived in Thailand.
The couple is in the country for two special occasions: a babymoon and Francis’ birthday!
On Instagram, Valerie shared a video of the two of them exploring some destinations in the country and enjoying some mouthwatering food together.
In the caption, Valerie shared a short description of what a babymoon is, saying it is about "enjoying quality time together before the birth of a new baby."
The actress added that it is "a trip/vacation taken by a couple shortly before the birth of a child" and also the couple’s "last hurrah/last getaway to rest, rejuvenate and reconnect before baby arrives."
She also wished her husband a happy birthday.
"P.S.: Its ze husband’s birthday today," Valerie wrote. "Happy Blessed Birthday, asawa ko."
Valerie first announced that she was expecting a day before Mother’s Day through a photo shoot. In June, she shared a unique gender reveal event, announcing that she was expecting a baby boy.
Last month, Valerie welcomed her third trimester of pregnancy with a dance cover.
She recently wrapped up taping for the series "Love. Die. Repeat." and went on a maternity break.
Valerie tied the knot with Francis Sunga in late 2019. Valerie’s eldest daughter, Heather Fiona Galang, with ex-boyfriend Jeremy Carag, graduated high school and turned 18 in 2022.
