Catriona Gray keeps positive vibe despite gloomy weather in Hong Kong
During the recent stormy weather in Hong Kong, Catriona Gray's silver lining is a hot cup of coffee.
On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2018 shared some of her portraits taken in Hong Kong during the typhoon. The last slide of the photo carousel showed Catriona smiling from ear to ear despite the gloomy weather.
"[Our] trip to [Hong Kong] saw us arriving just a day before the typhoon," the beauty queen wrote in the caption.
"So that meant horror movie marathons and long [sleep-ins] during the lock down," she added.
Catriona didn't stay inside her hotel the entire time, though, as she craved a hot cup of coffee to keep her warm.
"And when we finally did go out in search of coffee, despite the rain[,] happy pa rin [ako]," she said.
Catriona is currently in Hong Kong for the launch of her wax figure at the Asian flagship museum of Madame Tussauds, where the wax figures of fellow Filipinos Pia Wurtzbach and Manny Pacquiao stand.
Aside from taking a photo with her own wax figure, Catriona also took the time to pose beside Pia's.
Initially launched at the Singapore outpost of Madame Tussauds in 2022, Catriona's wax figure is actually a touring figure that will land in Bangkok next. After the tours, it will return to Hong Kong, which will become its home base.
