Gabbi Garcia says Japan solo trip is a time for self-discovery
Gabbi Garcia recently traveled to Japan for a solo trip.
On Instagram, the Kapuso It Girl shared photos from Osaka with the iconic Glico billboard in the background as well as some snaps of the lively Dotonbori area, and reflected over her trip.
Gabbi admitted that although she was worried about being alone in a different country, it had “been an unexpectedly enlightening experience.”
“I feared boredom, worrying, restlessness, and just being alone with my own thoughts,” she said. “However, reality has surprised me. Being on my own during this time has helped me discover parts of myself I didn't know existed.”
She added that one of the most significant parts of being alone can lead to self-discovery.
“It's honestly mind-blowing how just being comfortable alone can open the door to such meaningful insights and a genuinely captivating adventure of getting to know yourself better,” she said.
“I would definitely do this again. And you should too,” she added.
Gabbi also thanked some sweet Korean girls who took her photos. “[This] is my only photo that’s decent lol,” she said.
The actress also went on a food crawl and a museum tour. She said the highlight was heading to several locations on her own.
Gabbi is one of the stars of “Unbreak My Heart,” the historic collaboration of GMA Network and ABS-CBN.
She said her role as Alexandra on the show is her “most mature role” to date.
“Unbreak My Heart,” starring Gabbi, Joshua Garcia, Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap airs Mondays to Thursdays on GMA Telebabad, Pinoy Hits, and I Heart Movies at 9:35 p.m. and 11:25 p.m. on GTV.
It’s also available on GMA Pinoy TV, TFC, and Viu.
