Pauline Amelinckx has grand homecoming in Bohol: ‘You truly feel like home’
Pauline Amelinckx has received a grand and heartwarming homecoming in Bohol.
The beauty queen wore a stunning blue gown and made her way around the province atop a float filled with roses for a parade.
In her caption, Pauline said she is “beyond grateful to be back in Bohol and share our victory with every Bol-anon.”
She added that the support from her kababayans kept her going throughout the pageant journey.
“The support [I] have felt, I have carried with me thru every journey and it has given me so much strength and made me feel so loved,” Pauline said.
“Thank you for your warmth, Bohol. You truly feel like home,” she added.
The homecoming event also coincided with the annual Sandugo Festival, which symbolizes the first friendship treaty in the Philippines.
“And now, all these centuries later, Sandugo still brings together so many people. It connects every Boholano,” Pauline said.
In July, Pauline was proclaimed the 1st runner-up in the Miss Supranational 2023 competition held in Poland. During the preliminaries, she became a finalist in a round of Supra Chat.
She called the journey and crown “a victory.”
Pauline was named Miss Supranational Philippines following her third try at the Miss Universe Philippines pageant last May.
