This Pangasinan resort lets you make your own pizza and eat it too!

Who doesn't love pizza?

As much as sharing it with friends and family is a great way to bond over food, learning how to create it from scratch is another unique experience you should try out with your loved ones.

Pangasinan's Hiraya Wellness Resort includes a pizza-making workshop among the plenty other activities guests can do at the ecopark.

At the resort's Tio Berto's restaurant, guests on an overstay, or even just on a day tour, can sign up for the pizza-making workshop.

The pizza-making workshop includes assembling the ingredients, making the dough from scratch, kneading it, choosing your preferred toppings and forming them, and popping it in the oven.

The first step is choosing what pizza you'll make from Tio Bertos' five choices: pepperoni cheese, bacon cheeseburger, classic Margherita, ham and cheese, and Hawaiian aloha.

After choosing your preferred pizza variant, a chef will assist you with a step-by-step guide on how to prep it properly.

We found that making and kneading the dough was the most tedious part, while putting the cheese and assembling the toppings was the most exciting step.

The process of making a pizza involves teamwork and collaboration. Some may excel at kneading the dough, while others are skilled at tossing the pizza in the air. Each person's unique contribution adds to the overall experience, which makes it a perfect bonding experience with friends or family.

Meanwhile, for those who want to skip the pizza-making part and go straight to eating, Tio Bertos offers freshly handmade pizzas with Filipino cuisine influences, like Sisig Pizza, Pizza Bianca Ala Filipina, and Pigar Pizza, all at P649.

You may book your stay at Hiraya through their website or on Parlon.
