Team Kramer visits iconic Mont Saint-Michel in France
After touring London, Team Kramer headed to France for a quick day trip to Normandy!
The celebrity family visited the iconic Mont Saint-Michel, a UNESCO world heritage site.
On Instagram, Doug Kramer shared several photos of their trip to the rocky tidal island that is home to the Mont Saint-Michel Abbey.
"What a magnificent site and structure to behold! You have to be present to really appreciate the architecture," he said.
"Glad we made it to the top to witness it's beauty and grandeur," he added.
Mont Saint-Michel is the inspiration behind some of the buildings in popular culture, such as the castle in the Disney film "Tangled."
Aside from the island, Doug and his family also visited the Memorial De Caen, a visitor center that features the Battle of Normandy in World War II.
"We all learned so much this day. Including my dad finally finding out where his dad (my Grandfather) specifically landed during D-day, the 29th infantry division," the former PBA player said.
According to Doug, his family traveled seven hours via ferry from Portsmouth in the United Kingdom to reach Caen.
