Here’s where you can visit a picture-perfect field of sunflowers in Metro Manila for free
Are you always on the lookout for new travel adventures but are on a budget? How about a road trip to see a picturesque field of sunflowers in Metro Manila? It may make you feel like you're in Tuscany, Italy.
The best part is it's free to the public!
As seen on Dano Tingcungco's Wednesday report on "24 Oras," there's no need for a visa to visit the sunflower field in Barangay Almanza Dos in Las Piñas City.
"Para kang wala sa Pilipinas, lakas maka ibang bansa, mga Australia, o Europe," said Ken Ochi, who was visiting the area.
Throw in the right camera angles, and you may have loads of Instagram-worthy photos, too.
The venue plants sunflowers every January so the flowers bloom just in time for summer. The flowers are expected to bloom in full by next week, the week of April 17, 2023.
The sprawling field of flowers is 392 square meters and located at Palazzo Verde, an events place.
"Nung nakita ko ito sa personal, maganda pala talaga," said Melanie Ochi, who was also visiting the venue.
The venue uses imported sunflower seeds, and they've been doing this for four years now. — Kimberly Tsao/BM, GMA Integrated News
