5 beaches worth visiting in Central Luzon

At this point of the year, when the sun's heat becomes a little too much, most people opt to go on a beach trip for that summer state of mind.

Luckily, in the northern part of the Philippines, there are numerous beach destinations that you can go to by land when coming from Metro Manila.

On Tuesday, "Unang Hirit" presented several beach destinations in Central Luzon that you should not miss during summertime as well as a few more beach recommendations from our team at GMA News Online.

1. Dingalan, Aurora

Dubbed as the "Batanes of the East," Dingalan, Aurora is home to the blue seas of the Pacific Ocean. Some of the most famous activities in Dingalan are surfing, sailing, and trekking the province's summit, which showcases a panoramic view of Aurora.

2. Baler, Aurora

Baler is a beach destination that doesn't need any introduction. Dubbed as the "Birthplace of Philippine Surfing," tourists and guests will surely enjoy chasing waves and catching sunsets at this beautiful Aurora island.

3. San Felipe, Zambales

San Felipe, Zambales, is famous for those who want to spend their vacation somewhere chill and relaxing but equally fun in terms of beach offerings. Aside from camping and surfing, you may also explore San Felipe by riding a 4x4 ATV.

4. San Antonio, Zambales

San Antonio, Zambales is home to the famous camping site Anawangin Cove. If you're looking for a beach trip that lets you go off the grid, you may do so on this island since it has little to no mobile signal. Talk about "do not disturb!"

5. Mariveles, Bataan

Gen Z's, Mariveles, Bataan is the place to be if you're looking for a beach destination that is Instagrammable and TikTok friendly in every corner. With its abundant rock formations around the island, you may explore Mariveles and shoot your content while riding a boat.
