Celeste Cortesi flies to New Orleans for Miss Universe 2022
Celeste Cortesi has jetted off to New Orleans for the 71st Miss Universe competition!
On Instagram, the Philippines’ bet posted photos at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Wednesday morning. She looked absolutely chic in her all-red outfit made up of a leather coat with a fur collar and cuffs, plus knee-length boots and black cat-eye sunglasses.
Celeste was surrounded by suitcases bearing her name, the Philippine flag, and the title Miss Universe Philippines.
“This is it Philippines!” she wrote in her caption.
The Miss Universe Philippines organization said in their post, “We are sending all the good energy your way!”
Ahead of the competition, Celeste has shared a glimpse of her pasarela.
The Miss Universe 2022 pageant is happening on January 14 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Over 85 candidates will be competing for the crown.
This edition of the pageant will use sustainable sashes. The “Force for Good” crown was unveiled last December.
