This snow-themed park in Dapitan lets you experience winter wonderland in the Philippines

Who doesn't dream of seeing snow at least once in their lives? Because the Philippines is a tropical country, real winter is something that Pinoys can only experience when they travel abroad.

But thanks to Glorious Snow World in Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte, Filipinos don't have to fly out of the country to get the chance to frolic on the snow.

According to Katrina Son's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, the snow-themed park can go as cold as -9.6 degrees Celsius.

For P1,000, guests can enjoy the snow castle, igloo ice house, ice slide, and the constant snowfall in the park like a true winter wonderland.

The park also provides coats that guests can wear inside. When it gets too cold for comfort, meals and coffee are available to help you warm up again.

Dapitan City Tourism Officer Apple Marie Agolong said they have more offerings planned so guests should stay tuned.

"Meron kaming mga bagong pasabog [We have new things to introduce] so rest assured na all members of the family really has something to be interested in," she said.
