Tagaytay's Picnic Grove is open to the public again, Baguio City to open on November 1
Tagaytay's Picnic Grove is now open to the public again, Jonathan Andal reports on Unang Balita.
Open from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m, Picnic Grove is only open to fully vaccinated individuals including seniors citizens. Children or minors however are still prohibited from entering the park.
The Ferris wheel at the Picnic Groove is still not operational, but tourists can go horseback riding for P350 or zipline for P300. The entrance fee to Picnic Groove is only P50.
But as Picnic Grove opens, the Tagaytay government has temporarily closed People's Park on Wednesday following the influx of people. According to Tagaytay Mayor Agnes Tolentino, the park will reopen once the situation improves.
The Tagaytay City government has warned that children are still not allowed in restaurants.
Meanwhile, Baguio City will open to the public on Monday, November 1. According to Darlene Cay's report, all ages will be admitted, but visitors must be fully vaccinated.
If you are 12-17, you must present a negative RT-PCR or Antigen test results. This is optional for children ages 11 and under.
The Baguio City government advised tourists to register on the "Bisita App" website because they would need it to enter Baguio.
Ahead of Baguio's reopening, residents have already been spotted enjoying Burnham Park.
