Universal Studios Japan to open a 'Demon Slayer'-themed ride this September

After the success of "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train," Universal Studios Japan is launching a ride inspired by the movie.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba XR Ride is set to open at the theme park on September 17. It will run until February 13 of next year.

According to TimeOut, the ride will allow guests to experience the high-speed locomotive known as the Mugen Train as seen in the film.

Additionally, the Hollywood Dream roller coaster will adapt a "Demon Slayer" theme, featuring the voices of the characters.

Picking up after the events of the popular anime series, "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" follows Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke as they board the Mugen Train and meet up with Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku for a mission.

The 2020 film dethroned Studio Ghibli classic "Spirited Away" as Japan's no. 1 film in the box office, making it the highest-grossing anime film of all time. —JCB, GMA News
