Enchanted Kingdom opens doors to public every weekend
Enchanted Kingdom in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, will now be welcoming guests every weekend.
According to Katrina Son’s report on “24 Oras,” Saturday, the amusement park will be imposing strict health protocols to safeguard its guests.
“After every cycle, when the passengers go down, we spray and wipe the rides with disinfectant so that we can ensure that it’s clean and avoid any disease,” Enchanted Kingdom president and chairman Cesar Mario Mamon said in Filipino.
There is also a “safety wizard” who roams around the park to remind the guests to wear their face masks and face shields.
The theme park will operate at only 30% capacity. Instead of its pre-pandemic capacity of 18,000 guests, it will now allow only up to 5,000 a day.
Only persons 15 to 65 years old are allowed inside, and those within the 15 to 17 age range should have parental consent.
As a treat to their guests for their reopening, Mamon said EK had a new ride called the Twin Spin.
“It is a spinning coaster from Germany. First of its kind in the Philippines. You can expect a lot of fun, thrills and a lot of unforgettable memories,” he said.
Enchanted Kingdom will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
