Looking to recharge? Be one with nature in Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan
Are you looking for a place to recharge? Why not explore Doña Remedios Trinidad in Bulacan as your next new normal adventure?
In an episode of "Good News," Maey Bautista took viewers on a tour around the gorgeous scenery that the little pocket of nature has to offer.
She kicked off the adventure in Barangay Kalawakan, where she had her temperature checked and hands sanitized. It's a challenging 20 to 30-minute trek to Balistada Hill, but the beautiful surroundings make it worth it!
The reward is a breathtaking view of Sierra Madre from the spot dubbed the "Baguio of Bulacan."
There are also bird's nests set up there where guests can relax and take photos in.
The entrance fee is P20 per head.
Visitors must also pay P300 to the tour guide, who can accompany five to six people.
The best meals to eat while you're there are the papaitang kambing with alibangbang and ginataang laing with suso.
When you're done with your meal, head on over to Talon ni Pedro at Lukab.
You'd need to do some more trekking to reach the waterfall, which was opened to the public back in November.
The water there is cold, clean, and clear, so it's the perfect spot to take a dip in after all the walking you've been doing.
The entrance fee is P30, while the tour guides charge P300 for five people. —JCB, GMA News
