Work from the beach? This Boracay hotel has an offer that can one-up your WFH conditions

In two months' time, we will have been stuck at home for one whole year. So feeling an intense cabin fever or missing the beach is completely and utterly valid. 

Thankfully, businesses everywhere are becoming creative in helping themselves and helping pandemic-fatigued individuals.

Case in point: a hotel in Boracay has a very doable "Work From the Beach" promo that can one-up your WFH life. 

The Tides Hotel in Station 2 of the island is offering the "Work From Beach" promo that includes a rate of P1,300 per night (something like P39,000/month) of a standard room, free use of an LTE-A pocket wifi with up to 30MBPS speed, and budget-friendly menus just for WFB guests.  

The promo is also inclusive of unlimited use of the gym, use of the roof deck pool, and a weekly change of linens and disinfecting of rooms. The rates are good until March 31, 2021.

Of course, getting to the island — flights, health declaration, COVID-19 tests and so it goes — are on the guest. 

Boracay has been open to tourists outside Western Visayas since October 2020, as the government sought to revive the tourism industry which suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sounds like a perfect balance of work and play, doesn't it? Still, allow us to issue a reminder that the COVID-19 pandemic is still very much real. In fact, the UK variant has already been detected in the Philippines. As of Wednesday, January 13, total infections in the country were at 492,700.
